Information concerning the “event” that took place in January, 1st is nothing but a manifestation of madness and stupidity disseminated through the Romanian mass media. Hallucinations and hyperthymia going far beyond the boundaries of all reasonable expectation could be taken as core terms characterizing the state of mind of the majority expressing their thoughts about the importance of the “event” for Romania. Propagandist pirouettes stimulating Romania to dissolve into “the big European family” seem to be astonishing on the one hand as well as filthy and impertinent on the other. States as well as the nominative nations of the Union acquired the names of “country sisters” and “our brothers” (What role the Hungarians play, I wonder? Does the European community have the same attitude to Hungarians? There is no need to delve deeper into the history looking for the answer. Recollect recent or nor very recent events that took place in Hungary. Remember the heart of the Romanian Ardeal (Transylvania) zone more or less compactly inhabited by the above mentioned brothers living next to Szeklers. European fraternal feelings towards the brothers living in Transylvania since time immemorial made them organize the congress proclaiming Hungarian autonomy. Of course all the meetings could not do without the Hungarian and EU banners. Foreign correspondents were talked to in both Hungarian and English. In short, like brothers, like Europeans…). One more important achievement of the integration is people looking for a job abroad. Integration in question intentionally contributed to the decrease of payment rates of university fees for the European citizens studying in the west. (It’s better to invest money in your study abroad program than in your home Romanian system…There is no need to loose your precious time for your own country because we are considered to be inferior and barely listened to…) Bards of the integration managed to turn decision of some European countries forbidding Romanians to pass the boundary lines of their territory into a great realization and a big step toward “brotherhood”. Remember Băsescu’s question to the Britannic prime – minister during Helsinki meeting of EU – “So far, I cannot understand The Government of Her Britannic Majesty imposing restrictions for Romanians”. Hypocrisy, hypocrisy…Any Romanian staying abroad can answer his question – Romanians are regarded as inferior to the local population; they are treated like aliens; they feel the draught and are kept at a distance… It appears entrance of Romania into the European Union structure is the only valuable realization of the nation (though, people have nothing to do with the integration under issue) existing two thousand years. Romanization, implementation of Christianity, formation of ŢĂRILE ROMÂNEŞTI (the Romanian States) as well as merits of such personalities as Ştefan cel Mare (Stephen the Great), Mircea cel Bătrân (Mircea the Elder), Vlad Ţepeş (Vlad III the Impaler), Petru Rareş (Petru Raresh), Vasile Lupu, Matei Basarab are nothing compared to annexation of Romania to EU. The same can be said about the merits and sufferings of those who died the hero’s death defending their country and faith with hope their followers would be proud of their sacrifice. It is nothing but anti – Romanian provocative act…Expressions of “the event”, “the secular dream” and “the guerdon of our efforts” and “achievement of some sort of inevitable event” kind next to eschatological connotations is nothing but the summit of stupidity. Entrance of Romania into the European Union is like the so – called virus infecting the informational space and Romanian outlook concerning the values identifying the nation under issue as a whole. It is nothing but the attempt against human existence and humanization of the individual human being. European “brotherhood” tries to impose the unique standard of existence which is alien for Romanian secular values transmitted from the generations to generations. Entrance of Romania into the European Union has became the problem of survival of every Romanian wishing to remain Romanian aiming at preserving his or her original identity as well as values and respect towards the graves of their parents and ancestors. Only common efforts can prevent the spread of infection, strengthen the Romanian spirit as well as preserve human dignity and identity values. Organized communities will ignore the geographic principle and will function in favor of those trying to preserve national identity. State does not care about the survival of Romanians any more. State got rid of that problem. European system of values and culture will be imposed involuntarily by the State (schools, mass – media, socio – political relationships, “culture” and so on.) to its own society. There will be no need to talk about the national Romanian values decaying by huge amounts (the same can be said about other ethnic groups). Throbs of the heart and the national consciousness praising “the value” of liberalism will be registered to the West of the Prut River. At first sight it seems that the influence of the former socialist camp aimed at constraining and slowing the process of “Europeanization” for a longer period of time. Despite various deficiencies, concepts and anti – national spirit, the soviet regime contributed, promoted and put the accent on human (traditionally accepted) values. For instance, the Family and the Motherland (even if built according to soviet conception) traditionally constituted core elements of the socialist system. Any possible offensive statement against the Family and Motherland was prosecuted rigorously. Fully enjoying the advantages of freedom from the yoke of Moscow, the sentiments of at least Central and Eastern Europe morphed into another shape coming up with a bang that did not last long after the collapse of the socialist system. Economical and social disaster, disorganization of the state institutions and Western way of life have become the core elements transforming the Eastern Europeans into the most radical supporters promoting integration into EU as well as unconscious acknowledgement of the valuable occidental system. It is worth observing the propagandistic ideas characteristic of the post – soviet period were skillfully transmitted and implanted into the brain of tens of millions of people living on the former soviet system territory. Though, the West did not hide the visible pleasure. “Romanian” state does not defend the interests of its people anymore. It is difficult to identify any of the intentions to protect the national interests of the Romanians as well as Romanians living to the East from the Prut River even after the overthrown of the communist Ceausescu’s regime. Sovereignty traces were irreversibly dispersed after 2007. Romania has become a structure, a mechanism serving the interests of the monster not its own people or the Romanian nation. Central administration of the Romanian State flirted already with the idea of implementing regional party structures characteristic of the soviet regime when making decisions was limited by sending the telegrams from the Center and organization of meetings conducted by the district’s executives as well as the activists of the advanced kolkhozes applauding another genius idea implemented by the “Center”. Romania integration into the EU stands among the most important issues for the Republic of Moldova and its population. Any discussion upon eventual Unification seems nowadays to be useless as well as lacking sound sense. (We are to acknowledge the best part of the discussions about unification after 1991 had the same character either because of the inactivity or lack of any cooperation in the direction in question or because of Chişinău provocateurs cherishing the same idea). Should we get united? Preservation of the national values and the secular identity were the main aspects stimulating the unification in the 80-90ties. But nowadays it is almost impossible because Romania became the member of the unique system destroying and demolishing national identity and human values of every country entering the EU. The only purpose of the EU is to build the new “European” identity (as for us we were soviet by origin). Relationship between the Republic of Moldova and Romanian should be build on the basis of new principles dictated by the Union. In 1991 Moldova was the part of the Union (Soviet) while Romania wasn’t. Things changed in 2007: Romania became the member of the Union while Moldova didn’t. Countries roles and responsibilities have changed over time. According to the Old Testament, after Solomon’s death the Israel’s Unity being supported by the Hebrews’ entirely empty dignity and hatred towards the neighbor collapsed. After Israel comes Samaria uniting ten Israeli tribes and Judea composed of two tribes, Juda and Benjamin. Two countries met different fates. Samaria was inhabited by the Assyrians while Israelites were dispersed all over the Empire. Kingdom of Judea did not cease to serve the God. That is why Israelites did not undergo deportation and their Temple was not destroyed. One would say the Republic of Moldova is incapable of copying Romania because we are different countries. At least we are lucky to have the possibility to achieve our unrealized goals. Despite all its problems, Moldova’s favorable opportunity (unlike Romania) to plow a lonely furrow will help Moldova to achieve the goals during the period of the next ten - fifteen years. We are to acknowledge integration of the Republic of Moldova into EU is being postponed for an unlimited period of time; but let us hope the civilized place of uncertainty existing in the Orthodox world will play into our hands. We must set things going if we want to save the situation. Otherwise the respite under issue will remain inactive. Those who think about the impossibility to assure Romanian values continuity to the East from the Prut River they are strongly mistaken. They do not acknowledge the Romanian unity. They do not acknowledge the possibility to preserve the national values beyond the native country except the territories of ethno – genesis. Majorities think to be a Romanian means to speak Bucharest gobbledygook and do everything at the “modern” Romanian state’s whistle. Those who run after the pipe dreams and do not care about the “Romanian” state cannot be called Romanians anymore belonging to the nation under issue.
